Mary Kaye has served congregations in the Twin Cities since the mid 1980s. Her congregational work has always included faith formation for people beginning at birth.
Her passion for helping children and their loved ones know they are loved and cherished is also reflected in her work with Burnsville/Eagan/Savage Early Childhood/Family Education. For two summers, she was honored to serve as pastor in residence with the summer staff at Camp Wapogasset, in Amery, WI. She continues to supply preach in a wonderful array of places God’s people worship.
She is blessed & supported by Jim, husband of 37 years. She and Jim are proud parents of three adult sons, Jason, Matt & Nathan. She brings the perspective of someone who has prayed over premature twins, hoping they’d keep breathing and held little hands as they left a burning house. The blessings in her life convince her of God’s abundance, while continuing to break open her heart over those in the world who don’t have what they need.
She finds it a privilege to walk with God’s people in whatever journey they find themselves, and to enjoy lively dialogue with all the people God loves, whether they know they are that or not. She loves working with growing people of every age, and will bring stories & questions to stretch our thinking & wondering about God’s call in our lives today.
